Payment Options

We understand that legal fees can be a major expense. As a courtesy, B.K. Leonard Law Firm offers Affirm  through LawPay as an optional payment method for eligible legal fees.

 

Paying With Affirm

​

Affirm may allow you to pay an eligible legal fee over time instead of paying the full amount at once.

Please understand:

• Approval is not guaranteed.

• Affirm is a separate, third-party company.

• B.K. Leonard Law Firm does not approve or deny Affirm applications.

• We cannot change an Affirm decision.

• Affirm determines your payment amount, payment schedule, interest rate, and other financing terms.

• Using Affirm does not lower or change our legal fees.

• Affirm approval does not mean that the firm has agreed to represent you.

• Questions about your Affirm application or payment plan must be directed to Affirm.

 

Full Representation Fees

The fee for full representation covers attorney representation only.

It does not include other costs that may come up during your case.

Additional costs may include:

• Court filing fees

• Service fees

• Court costs

• Transcripts or records

• Depositions

• Expert fees

• Travel expenses

• Other case-related expenses

These costs are separate from your representation fee and may become due while your case is ongoing.

Paying your representation fee through Affirm does not include or eliminate these additional costs.

 

Before Making a Payment

Please do not make a payment for full representation unless our office has instructed you to do so.

 

Before paying, make sure you understand:

• The legal service you are purchasing

• The fee for that service

• Any additional costs or fees that may apply

• The payment terms provided by our office

Your signed representation agreement controls the specific fees, costs, and payment terms for your case.
